Valentine's Week Blog Hop

Just a reminder to all of the single bloggers out there that I am going to be hosting a Valentine's Week Blog Hop from Monday, February 11 to Friday, February 15.  The purpose of the blog hop is to give single bloggers a place to share their thoughts about being single, relationships, Valentine's Day, etc  - essentially whatever you feel moved to write about and share with the world.  It can be happy or sad, positive or negative, uplifting or whiny.  The blog hop is also a way for people to discover new blogs and for single bloggers to attract more visitors.  Think of it as a big virtual meeting place for single people who need a safe place while the world is taken over by hearts and flowers and love-sick couples.

If you're interested in taking part, I would love it if you would write a post specifically for the event and link it up to the blog hop.  I also totally understand if you don't have time to write a post and simply want to link up your blog (as I commonly do when I participate in blog hops).  The link will be up starting at midnight on Monday and will go until the end of the week.  I hope all the single bloggers reading this will join me!

In other news, for those of you who are interested in my culinary adventures, I went out for a fancy dinner again last night*.  And ate Kermit.  Mmmmm.

They really do taste like chicken.

*For anyone who is wondering, there's a promotion going on in my city right now in which some of the nicer restaurants offer three-course meals for significantly less than they normally charge.  I don't normally eat out quite this often.

Bear with me if this is a stupid question! I'm not sure how a blog hop works? I'm interested in taking part though!

Laura - Not a stupid question at all! It's actually pretty simple. There will be a post for the blog hop up at midnight tonight, and all you need to do is enter a link to your blog post into the blog hop form. This will create a link to your blog post that people will be able to follow from my blog.

Hope that makes sense. It's easy to figure out when you see the actual post!
